UK Crowdfunding Association AGM
The members of the UK Crowdfunding Association held their Annual General Meeting at the Bates Wells Braithwaite offices at St Pauls, London today.
The meeting kicked off with a review of what had been achieved in the last 12 months including key partnerships, press coverage, regulatory changes and lobbying impact.
Existing Directors stood down, and a new Board was elected as follows:

Theresa Burton from Buzzbnk
Julia Groves from Trillion Fund who was also re-elected as Chair for a second year.
Karen Kerrigan from Seedrs
Jonathan May from Hubbub (2nd row right)
Bruce Davis from Abundance (at rear)
and Darren Westlake from Crowdcube
Priority issues for the coming 12 months were agreed as:
AWARENESS
Education, ongoing press, lobbying, sharing research and insights
REGULATION
How the regulations are implemented, simplified advice, social trading and exempt models
TAX
ISA qualification, SITR implementation, treatment of bad debts, gift aid etc.
COMPETITION
Creating a level playing field, removing barriers, access to banking

Revised fees for renewals and new members
