Andrea Blackie

Andrea is Head of Risk at ShareIn, one of the founding members of the UKCFA.

Within ShareIn, she works with the Compliance and Finance function of the business in supporting the compliant delivery of market leading direct investment channels, including 3 of the UK’s top impact investment platforms. One of her main areas of focus is regulatory change, which positions her well for supporting the UKCFA’s policy efforts.

In addition to the UKCFA, she has been involved since its inception in initiatives driven by FinTech Scotland, an independent not-for-profit body encouraging financial innovation, collaboration and inclusion as part of Scotland’s broader digital economy objectives.

Prior to joining ShareIn, Andrea worked in finance in various roles for a number of years in her native Canada.
